세계군인체육연맹(CISM)과 한국의 발자취
본 연구는 2015년 한국에서 개최될 제6회 세계군인체육대회의 홍보를 유 도하고자 주관기관인 CISM의 역사적 의미와 우리나라와의 관계 그리고 앞 으로의 CISM 발전방안을 제시하였다. CISM은 스포츠를 통해 세계군인들 간의 우정을 갖자는 취지에 따라 1948년 설립된 전통성 있는 단체로 평가 받는다. 한국은 1957년 정식 가입한 이래 CISM 각종 대회에 대회결과에서 상위에 입상하였고 극동아시아 중심국으로써 군사외교를 펼쳤다. 한편, 본 연구에서는 이번 2015년 경북문경 세계군인체육대회(Military World Game) 의 참가국과의 교류를 통해 방위산업 홍보행사를 실시하여 기업으로부터 지 원금을 확보하는 스포츠마케팅 전략을 제시하였다. 이는 이미 한국에서 일부 국가를 대상으로 한 스포츠 교류로 방위산업 홍보가 있었던 사례를 볼 때, 의미 있는 전략으로 평가 될 수 있을 것이다.
An Study on Trace of the International Military Sports Council and Korea
This research is to present the historical meaning of the organization with its relation to the country and finally the solution to correctional development in order to shed light on the Sixth CISM in Korea. CISM was established in 1948 and has ever since been evaluated as the traditional prestigious organization to bring soldiers together on a global basis to share friendship (and further exchange). Korea was inducted in 1957 to CISM and participated in several of its international tournaments with conspicuous results, thereby showing military diplomacy as a core member of East Asia. Also, this study propose sports marketing strategy to hold the ‘Military World Game’ in Kyungbook, Munkyung, Korea to build friendship and continue diplomatic exchange, with the specific plan of defence industry. Successful precedents in Korea involving some countries for defence industry programs and exchange with Sports, the Military World Game will again be considered as a strategic ‘move’ for Korea.
